Helumi

Helumi adds a cloud drive to Finder so you can store large files online and open them in your existing Mac apps. It fetches the portions a file needs on demand, rather than requiring a complete download before use. Upload files through Finder or the menu bar, search with a keyboard shortcut, and access your library from a browser on other devices. Share files and folders with links, or create upload links to receive files from other people. Selected folders can be kept locally for offline work. Helumi advertises end-to-end encryption with keys held on your devices, resumable uploads, and a 30-day recovery window for deleted files. Its website lists compatibility with video editors including DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, and CapCut. Requires macOS 26.2 Tahoe or later. The app is free to download, but storage requires a monthly subscription; the listed 1 TB plan costs $10 per month. Most cloud files require an internet connection unless kept locally.
