iPhone Duo EU label lists a 4,883 mAh battery and a lower repair score
Apple's EU sheet for iPhone Duo shows a 4,883 mAh battery and a 2.65 repair index, below the 3.14 listed for 18 Pro.

Apple has published the European product information sheet for iPhone Duo, model A3720. The rated battery capacity is 4,883 mAh. MacRumors spotted the document on October 18 and notes that it matches earlier leaks of two cells, 2,962 mAh and 1,921 mAh. Apple says Duo is eSIM-only worldwide, so MacRumors expects the figure to apply in every region.
What the EU sheet says
EU rules require standardized battery, durability, and repair data. For Duo, Apple lists:
- Rated battery capacity: 4,883 mAh, not user-replaceable
- Battery endurance per charge cycle: 51 hours 30 minutes
- At least 1,000 charge cycles
- Drop test: at least 140 falls without defect, and 35 when fully open (class B)
- IP68 to 6 meters, scratch resistance 5 on the Mohs scale
- Repairability class C, index 2.65 out of 5
- Security and feature updates: at least 5 years after the model leaves the market
How it compares with iPhone 18 Pro
Apple's EU sheets for iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max both list repairability class C with a higher 3.14 index, and 180 or more drop-test falls. Duo scores lower on fasteners (2.24 versus 3.80) and tools (1.12 versus 2.55), but higher on spare parts (5.00 versus 4.00). Endurance per cycle is 52 hours on the 18 Pro and 62 hours on the Pro Max, so Duo lands just below the smaller Pro.
The EU endurance figure comes from a standardized lab test. Apple's spec page quotes up to 44 hours of video playback on the outer display, 31 hours on the inner display, and 24 hours of typical use when both screens are used equally.
Who should care
If you have a Duo pre-ordered for October 23, or are weighing one as a $1,999 work phone, note that the inner display drains faster than the outer one, and that the repair scores trail the Pro models. Pair these figures with Apple's out-of-warranty prices, including $999 for the inner display, before skipping AppleCare+.
This does not mean Duo is unrepairable. The sheet points to Apple's Self Service Repair pages for parts and instructions, and class C is the same grade the Pro models get.
Our take: the battery figure is reassuring for a foldable, but the lower repair index matters more for people who keep phones for years. Budget for coverage.
Caveat: these are Apple's declared values under EU test methods; real battery life depends on how much you use the inner display.
