Google Photos turns existing outfit photos into a digital wardrobe
The iPhone rollout is useful precisely because it starts with pictures you already have, but availability is limited.

Wardrobe is now available to eligible Google Photos users on Android and iOS in the United States, India, and Brazil. Google's September 24 update confirms the rollout, following its earlier preview of the feature.
The tool catalogs clothing visible in your photo library. It can organize items, combine them into outfits, and generate virtual try-on previews.
The collection is only as complete as the photos
Our take: building from existing pictures lowers the effort of getting started, but it is not the same as creating a complete inventory of a closet. Clothes that never appear in those pictures are an obvious gap to check.
There is another important distinction in the announcement: Google's other photo updates do not all share Wardrobe's availability. Some are Android-only, while others have age, country, or subscription restrictions. An iPhone user should check the individual feature rather than expect the entire announcement to appear together.
