The best Split View apps for iPhone Duo are Fantastical, Things, Bear, Craft, Slack, Zoom, Airmail, Cardhop, and Notewise. Apple named most of them as Made for iPhone Duo apps built for Split View, which is new on iPhone. Microsoft Word and Outlook are coming "in the coming weeks."
This guide covers what each app does, which ones Apple has confirmed, and which pairs make sense side by side on the Duo's larger inner display.
How we picked these Split View apps
We started with the productivity section of Apple's October 22, 2026 developer announcement, which names Word, Outlook, Zoom, Slack, Salesforce, Fantastical, Notewise, Things, and Bear. We added Craft and Airmail from Apple's Europe list, and Cardhop from Apple's Fantastical section. We checked Apple's list again on October 25, 2026.
We have not tested these apps on an iPhone Duo. Descriptions come from Apple's announcement and each app's App Store page. Screenshots from App Store pages show the regular app, not the Duo layout. Pairings in this guide are our suggestions, not Apple's.

The sources we used do not give step-by-step instructions for opening Split View on the Duo. Check Apple's support pages for the exact gesture once you have the phone. The Duo starts at $1,999 and went on sale on October 23, 2026.
